Before designing, I went over all of the features in the tech demo and color-coded them according to task and context, so as to group them more coherently.

This is the first iteration of the NEO desktop application. Several key ideas are already present this early in the process, including the details rolodex to the right, the workspace navigation tools, and the ribbon for contextualizing functionality.
